Every-Athlete is a place where athletes can access evidence based Strength and Conditioning coaching both online and in-person with an experienced coach that has worked with a range of athletes from olympians to regional and more casual athletes.
Not only do we want to train athletes but we also want to educate them. Because of this, we help further the education of aspiring athletes by providing articles on areas of strength and conditioning that could impact or change how athletes train.
We offer both in person and online Strength and Conditioning services with programming catered to your sport and goals, making you the best athlete you can be. We also offer hybrid programming for athletes, giving an online programme to work through in your own time with some, but less frequent, in person sessions to ensure technique and progress at a lower cost than fully in person coaching.
My name is George and I am a Strength and Conditioning coach based out of Guildford, Surrey. I first started coaching when I took a placement year during my undergraduate degree in Biological Science at the University of Surrey where I immediately fell in love with the job and the day-to-day problem solving that came with it. I primarily worked with the university sports teams and the professional teams, Surrey Storm netball and Surrey Scorchers basketball that were partnered with the university. I have been fortunate enough to have worked with several professional and semi-professional sports teams so far in my career. These include Surrey Storm and Surrey Scorchers as previously mentioned, as well as Guildford Flames ice hockey club and Middlesex County Cricket Club women’s team. Within these teams I’ve worked with a huge range of athletes ranging from their respective academies all the way to senior athletes representing their country internationally. Alongside working in team environments, I also work with athletes privately, both in person and through online coaching and programming, having worked with athletes from all sports and backgrounds including national champion powerlifters to triathletes.
My coaching philosophy stems from a place of simplicity and enjoyability, where the best results come from a motivated athlete. I pride myself in listening to my athletes and working in conjunction with them to form a programme that is easy to follow and they can enjoy, getting the most out of every session. Given my multi-sport background I am most proud of my adaptability not only to new sports but also setbacks such as injuries. This comes from my experiences in rehabilitating athletes with major injuries such as ACL and Achilles tendon ruptures, providing me with experience that has been invaluable with the programming of future rehabilitation. Every-Athlete is here to provide this collection of experiences in the form of specially tailored coaching available for ‘every athlete’ of all levels and sports.
It was the guidance and expertise of George that enabled me to, not only compete readily in powerlifting, but also realise my full potential in the sport, and work as a team to see it through.
Training with George allowed me to stay game ready through detailed workouts. He provided daily explanation that included proper technical instruction while having a professional/fun gym environment. This allowed me to develop both on and off the ice.

His application of BFR and training techniques has helped me strengthen my lower body and improved my knee health which I've been struggling with. His training program has not only helped me play and train pain free but improved my fitness over the last 12 months!
I worked with George for two years as my strength and conditioning coach and I saw positive improvements for me as an athlete. His deep understanding of what my sport required, combined with his knowledge of strength and conditioning, helped me improve my agility, power, and endurance on the netball court. Provided a personalised training programme for your goals and flexibility around the gym. Also access to communication with us on WhatsApp whenever for any questions or issues you may have.
The perfect package for those not being able to do weekly sessions but still wanting in person guidance. Receive a custom training plan much like the online coaching but also receive an in person session at the start of every programme to provide guidance on any new exercises or to provide in person feedback on your progress.
Any travel to competitions such as powerlifting meets will be charged at £15 plus 35p per mile travelled
